The iconic Holbein House located directly on the Coolsingel, diagonally opposite to Rotterdam city hall is going to be renovated on a large scale! The Holbein House is a classic office building built in 1954 and designed by the architects Kraaijvanger. The building is named after the German painter Hans Holbein the Younger, known among other things for his portraits of Erasmus. Holbein House is already characterized by its impressive facade and a beautiful mosaic on which the images of Rotterdam, Erasmus's birthplace, can be seen. In 2023, the Holbein House will undergo a real makeover, again under the leadership of Kraaijvanger architects and it will be transformed into a fully-fledged multi-tenant office. The renovation includes the reception area, which will be combined with the basement and the mezzanine floor. This will create an attractive and dynamic living area created with lounge areas, meeting room and an amazing rooftop terrace where all tenants can make use of. In total, the Holbein House has 1650 m² of office and commercial space available spread over the 5th floor trough 8th floor. The office floors will will also be completely renovated and delivered plug and play, thus meets the quality requirements that can be expected from a high-quality office building. The delivery is planned for March 1st of 2024, but an earlier commissioning is negotiable.
