Summary

Huys Azië (2005) comprises two building sections, combining a large L-shaped brick volume with a low-rise section resembling a renovated old warehouse. This design seamlessly integrates with the surrounding buildings in terms of dimensions and materials used. The brick section becomes increasingly transparent towards the top through varying window arrangements. Wide, angular windows on the upper floors create a light and open appearance.
