The Houthavens is known as an area with an impressive history of industrial and commercial activities. In the post-industrial era, the area developed into a true Bohemian gathering place. Today, the banks of the IJ are being transformed into an ultramodern, cultural and creative office area. Today, the municipality of Amsterdam has designated the Houthavens area as a creative center, where standard office buildings are not allowed. In the last few years approx. 382,000 sq. m. of creative office space has been realized in this area. In addition to modern office buildings, there is much liveliness in this area. Within a 500m radius of the "AwareHouse" office building there are several restaurants, hotels and luxury gyms.

Car
By car, the Houthaven area is within a few minutes of the northern part of the A10 ring road. A new tunnel connects the Houthavens with the city center. In addition, Schiphol is only a 20-minute drive away.

Public transport
Amsterdam Central Station is only 3.6 km away from "AwareHouse". From here buses 48, 22 and 248 run to the Houthavens in less than 15 minutes.

Those who like to cycle, the "AwareHouse" is only 5-10 minutes by bike from the city center of Amsterdam.
