The project is located in the Flevokust business park, directly opposite the CTU Flevokust barge terminal and a stone's throw away from the power plant; the Maxima Power Station. The Flevokust harbor is an inland port with a high-quality industrial area where companies such as Bestseller and Bol.com will establish themselves and where neighbor Jysk recently started its operation, directly adjacent to the project location. The Flevokust harbor is operated by CTU, a well-known terminal operator. The terminal has a capacity of approximately 100,000 TEU handling per year and can be expanded further. With the enlargement of the Kornwerderzand lock, this port could even become accessible to sea vessels in the future. To the south of Flevokust lies Lelystad, a city with a strong and sustainable urban economy which will grow further with the opening of the new Lelystad Airport. With Amsterdam approximately 55 kilometers away and Zwolle approximately 50 kilometers away, Lelystad is a centrally located and easily accessible city in the Netherlands.
