Roermond is a medium sized city situated in the south parts of the Netherlands. The city is situated between Venlo and Born, two cities in the province Limburg that are both very well known as a logistics location.

Roermond is a good location for logistics, being close to Venlo (one of the most important European logistic areas) and Born. Roermond is also an easily accessible location due to its excellent connections to the motorways A2 and A73 as well as the close proximity to the German Ruhr area with its dense motorway system and the north of Belgium.

The new distribution center will be developed at business park Roerstreek North. Roerstreek North, Roerstreek South and the business park Oosttangent together form a large commercial zone on the east side of Roermond.

Roerstreek North was established in the 1960s. A thorough restructuring took place at the end of the 1990s. More than 100 companies are located at the Roerstreek. These companies are largely engaged in industry, wholesale and logistics / distribution activities. Amonst others: UPS, Eurofrigo and Rockwool.

Accessibility
Business Park Roerstreek North is part of a large business zone on the east side of Roermond.

Easily accessible by bus. There is a bus stop close by to the property from where bus line 62 departure to Roermond Central station in only 15 minutes.

Easily accessible by car with a 5 minute drive from the A73 motorway.

Close connection to the south with the barge terminal in Born, which offers daily container transport to the main ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp including all services needed. To the north there is a close connection to the barge terminal in Venlo, which also has direct connections to the main ports in Antwerp and Rotterdam.

Close to the new Greenport Venlo Rail terminal with sufficient storage and parking space for trailers, 28 hectares in total. The rail terminal will be ready for use at the beginning of 2020. In the Netherlands' second logistics hotspot, it will be the largest domestic rail terminal in the country.

Roerstreek Noord is ontstaan in de jaren 60. Eind jaren 90 heeft er een grondige herstructurering plaatsgevonden. Op dit bedrijventerrein zijn meer dan 100 bedrijven gevestigd. Bereikbaarheid
Bedrijvenpark Roerstreek Noord maakt onderdeel uit van een groot bedrijventerrein aan de oostkant van Roermond.

Het complex is gemakkelijk te bereiken per bus dankzij een op loopafstand gelegen bushalte. Vanaf deze halte vertekt buslijn 62 naar het centraal station van Roermond (ca. 15 minuten reistijd).

Met eigen vervoer is het complex eveneens uitstekend bereikbaar, op ca. vijf minuten rijafstand bevindt zich de snelweg A73.

Goede verbinding richting het zuiden naar de binnenvaartterminal in Born, met dagelijks containervervoer naar de belangrijkste havens van Rotterdam en Antwerpen. In het noorden is er een verbinding naar de binnenterminal van Venlo die ook directe verbindingen heeft met de havens in Antwerpen en Rotterdam.

Begin 2020 is de trein terminal Greenport Venlo gereed. De terminal zal beschikken over in totaal 28 hectare aan opslag- en parkeerruimte voor vrachtwagens. Na voltooing is dit de grootste binnenlandse trein terminal van Nederland.
